Itinerary

Depart Bangkok at 1 PM and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to a unique market held on the tracks of a working railway line. Marvel as the local traders make way for the trains as they pass slowly through the village. Then, continue to Amphawa Floating Market to join the locals as they buy and sell from boats on the canals of the Mea Klong River. Stroll along the boardwalk to watch the scenes unfold as farmers and fishermen sell snacks such as fried sea mussels and papaya salad from their boats. Admire the surrounding area on a boat trip with the locals to see around the area. Return to Bangkok city center for drop off at around 9 PM.

Driver picked us up on time an (Read More)d brought us safely through the crazy traffic in Bangkok. Was a private tour by Khun Pop. She always took good care of us with food and drink. Can recommend Mrs. Pop and the tour to everyone. Mrs. Pop was a very warm and funny young lady. Top.

We had a great day out with Wes, he really wanted to make sure we had a lovely day. Both Wes and our driver (apologies his name has escaped me) were both friendly and professional. We stopped by a tra (Read More)ditional Thai farmhouse, the railway market and floating market. The highlight for us was a long tail boat for approx 30-40mins to see the countryside and homes. Wes arranged the trip before sunset so we could see everything along the river, very much appreciated. I do think this tour is a little more expensive than we would have liked, but Wes did make it a good day out for us so overall I would recommend it!

Very nice trip. Comfortable, clean vehicle. The railway market is worth seeing, and the photo light is better in the afternoon than in the morning. There were a lot more tourist boats than local boats (Read More) on the floating market. But the atmosphere in the evening was very nice. There were many appetizing restaurants. The boat trip at dusk was also very nice. I was all alone in the boat. Yes, and there were fireflies too.

Very easy trip from our hotel to railway markets and floating markets and back. Excellent guide, driver, and car. Maybe they should fix the rear seatbelts though

The trip was very well organized. Wes, our guide, was incredible. He told us lots of details about Thailand, the food, the culture, the markets and much more. He kept getting us some typical dishes. T (Read More)he trip with Pis was pleasant. There were frequent stops. We were a family of three and even our 15-year-old son enjoyed the tour, especially the boat trip.
