Located in Sarvodaya Enclave in New Delhi, Sri Aurobindo Ashram is not only one of the oldest ashrams in Delhi but also one of the very best. Established on the 12th of February 1956, the ashram seeks to offer therapeutic solace with programmes like Yoga Practices, Discourse on teachings of Sri Aurobindo and selective Psychiatric Services and Workshops on Mental Enrichment etc. There are also Adolescent, Geriatrics and Family Camps organized to offer spiritual retreat to its guests. Iyengar Ashram in Delhi is known for its extensive yoga programmes. Ramkrishna Mission is one of the oldest ashram chains that was founded by Swami Vivekananda in the memory of his Guru- Guru Ramkrishna Paramhans. The centre has a magnificent statue of Shri Ramkrishna right in the heart of it. There are several monks who reside in the building who hold discourses and discussions. They even help the poor and the needy by giving them alms. In addition to that, there is a huge library that has more than 40,000 books.

Neem Karoli Baba Ashram is dedicated to Neem Karoli Baba who was a devoted devotee (bhakt) of the Hindu God Hanuman. The saint had a lot of devotees and fans which include people from both India and outside. Besides other meditative programmes and exercises, the ashram also has a very large Annapurna Temple and it also runs a free meal plan for underprivileged school children.
