The check in workers were trying to charge me $150 deposit + $359 for the room!! All while the room was already paid for !! They kept insisting that I chose the pay at property option . We went back and fourth for about an hour , all my card were being declined because instead of the $50 deposit everyone was being charged , they were charging me $439!!! We were about to pay AGAIN , but left instead . We left and were about to spend money on another hotel when I called the hotel and the lady on the phone fixed it immediately ,she talked to the front desk and when I went back to check in for the 3rd time they finally understood I paid for the room and only charged me $50 deposit that they were simply supposed to charge me an hour and a half ago when I showed up . NOT try and charge me for the room + the deposit.

Overall clean, comfortable and convenient.
Majority of the dishes from the kitchen we came across were dirty in some kind of way whether it was spots on the mug, a crack in the glass or dust on the silverware. Came across a lot of this over the 3 days we visited for breakfast. As well as a glass cup that had a huge crack in it in our room.
The front desk lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful, until we checked out and then realized she mightve been too friendly overcharging us for things and not giving us our vouchers needed for our stay. She had a great attitude but just lost focused being overly helpful in suppose.

Room was pretty big but the accesorries in the bathroom (like vanity sets) are missing. Bed where also OK.
Location was great in regard of the Convencion Center and the fact that they had a parking lot (despite the fcat that accessing the parking with the room card was almost all time difficult).

Disneyland - Happiest Place on Earth / Anaheim Marriott...Not so Much!
We liked how close it was to Disneyland.
We live in Las Vegas, NV, and our Marriott is wonderful so we felt comfortable staying here. The moment we got in, our "guaranteed" connecting rooms were not given to us, even though I had two emails prior and a verbal confirmation the day before that we would have them. Marriott even has them advertised on their website currently! Then, we placed a menu outside our door for breakfast service the next morning. Not only was breakfast late but it was put in completely wrong, which the Room service confirmed. Now - they did Comp the breakfast AND gave a $75.00 resort credit, which we truly appreciated. The icing on our Marriot cake, however, was upon returning from Disneyland on Saturday evening, we found that our son's gold-plated earrings were missing from his room. Now, I say "gold plated" because granted, he is 17 years old and bought these with his own money (over $100.00) so this was truly devastating and in all reality, really sad because again, we hold (well, used to) hold Marriott in high regards. You can tell this particular Hotel likes to have as many conferences/dances/competitions/etc. , to fill their Halls and Banquet areas. On Saturday alone, there was a body-building competition; a cheer competition, AND a Latin dance festival. I should have listened to the prior reviews on here that this place was not up to par. When choosing between here and The Westin Anaheim next door, do yourself a favor and book The Westin, especially so your family's things won't "go missing" when you're trying to have a wonderful trip. We will never be back.

Unhelpful front desk attendants. Price gouged rooms. Dirty showers and rusty bathroom toilets.
Our price gouged hotel room had a balcony that we paid through the nose for. It was not worth the insane amount of money they charged but it was nice to be able to get some fresh air whenever I began thinking about how much money I had wasted by booking early and staying at Marriott.
This Marriott price gouges. I spent nearly $500 more than I needed to because I booked early. I don't understand how this is possible, it seems Marriott only follow the law of demand and not supply. To charge $650 for a room when you have hundreds of unbooked rooms in your hotel is a fresh algorithmic hell. The only thing I can think of is that their booking website was getting a lot of traffic that day because of Blizzcon and they pumped the prices to gouge any sorry sack like myself that didn't think they were getting raked over the coals. The day of rates were $404/night, and because I booked early I was paying $650/night and $460/night. When brought to the front desks attention, they could not honor the actual price of the room and I was stuck paying the gouged rates. I love to stay at Marriott because they make you feel like an idiot for booking with them! On top of this, bathroom in our over-priced room had painted over mold or rust. Broken or missing shower equipment. The toilets downstairs had iron features that were orange with rust.
