The place itself is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are exceptionally maintained and the spa is amazing, includes lots of treatments. Has a number of restaurants to choose from and a great breakfast in a beautiful setting overlooking a pristine golf course. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
I informed the hotel by e-mail that I was checking in between 2-3pm but on arrival approx 2:40pm I was told the room would not be ready until 4:30pm. This delayed the time I had for the spa and treatments I was going to get, in the end I couldn't fit everything in and was unable to book in the treatments, as I only had a limited time in the spa, which closed at 8pm and it was included in the booking price. I booked a junior suit with terrace which included a hot tub but when I asked if I could have it filled (you can't do this yourself as there are no taps) I was told I wasn't allowed to use it after 12pm, I would have liked to know this at check in as I would have gone back to the room sooner in order to use it. Dinner was also included in the room price but I was only able to eat in one of the many restaurants, which I was not aware of either when booking. After having breakfast we went back to the room at 11am to pack for check out at 12pm, we were locked out of the room, the cards would not work so I had to go back to reception and at that point i requested late check out which the reception staff kindly agreed to. I was told I had to check out by 2pm but on 2 occasions before this time the cleaning staff attempted to come into the room in order to clean it. I was a little disappointed as I paid almost 800 for the room.

Excellent for golf but expensive for the convenience of staying in the resort
Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, great golf courses.
Very expensive for what you get - at the price we paid we expected the facilities, food and all aspects of service to be outstanding. It fell short of that for us, but still a very nice hotel. Would play the golf again but wouldn't stay in the resort - there are much cheaper options available in the region.

Because the hotel is one large patio, all rooms come out in the main hall and sometimes theres Too much noise from the reception. At night the outdoor light shines in the room all night. Airco didnt work properly.

Our fourth stay and I have to say, a huge disappointment this time based on our previous experiences
Breakfasts were great. Room was adequate in size. We've stayed three times before and had better rooms previously. This was small by comparison.
The Lebanese restaurant Ola Beiruit was overpriced and fairly uninspiring. We had to send back a beefburger from the poolside bar. Our son had taken a bite out of it and it was warm. The same burger was returned to him heated up with a original bite out of the burger bun and meat pattie. At 28 euro for a beef burger - that was poor service! Even MacDonalds or Burger King would replace the entire thing!! The shuttle bus to the private beach club was not operating for three of our four days stay, which was a great shame!
