    the place to stay in in Interlaken
    this is our second stay at the apartment, so it means that we like almost everything there. the apartment had some upgrades nevertheless like the TV set and the entertainment system which was great addition for the kids. some of the furniture were replaced with newer one making things even better. the location is great, the view from the balcony is nice, the kitchen is very well equipped. whatever you need from an apartment is there.
    the kitchen had a slight food smell coming from the woodwork.

    This is not an airbnb as ithe apt currently appointed but if you would at a minimum fix the above items it would have be
    Loved the location, view The layout was operational and modern
    Drains clogged in bathroom and sink If you wish to cater to US then wash clothes are a must or at least disclose in amenities so person could bring them The hotels we stayed in had them No manuals and if not then must have a walk thru in day of checking for how to get to trash bin, how to use microwaves rove and cook too and grill and appliances After first day people have schedule so a must there is a person to meet Dryer does not work well so over 2 hrs to dry clothes . In US can dry even the heaviest items in less than an 1 hr The key box gets stuck a lot so hard to use because it wont always open unless you hit the outside of box to release the latch Make sure a person will do an intro walk through upon arrival Need window curtains to keto heat down during day And have a couple of fans that can be run

    1) Bed Mattresses were very bad, we got our back in bad situation. 2) better blankets could have been there.

    Great place for a long stay.
    almost every thing was great. the apartment had everything you will need for a long stay. well equipped in the fullest sense. view from the two balconies was amazing. location is 2 minutes walk from the main Interlaken street and central market.
    the apartment needed some refurbishment. minor renovation will make it perfect.

    The property itself was clean and well eqippped
    Before arrival from Italy, the host remarked that we should "be kind" and get tested, which we had. We were an American family traveling during Omicron and were very careful about testing requirements wherever we went. Our daughter had recently finished a semester abroad in Switzerland and we were traveling with a party of four so we could pick her up and bring her home, which also meant that we had a lot of luggage to carry. We had documentation of being boostered and fully vaccinated and tested in Italy two days before our arrival to Interlaken but because the host insisted that we get tested again, we stood in the cold rain in Florence for two hours the night before our arrival. All Swiss and Italian train conductors, etc. said that was not necessary but we did so out of respect for our host. In addition, the host required that we pay 200 francs in cash and hand it over to a woman who did not speak English the day of our arrival to Interlaken. We arrived on a weekend so getting to a bank immediately after travel was complicated but we did as instructed (very stressful!). We were not comfortable traveling with a large amount of cash and were using mostly credit cards as most travelers do. We inquired as to why we had to hand over cash upon arrival for the deposit and why they couldn't just use our credit card and were not given an adequate answer. Furthermore, the host said she had to stop by Christmas day for inspection (two days into our visit) but we pushed back saying that it was a family holiday. She relented and said she would come the next day. This impacted our plans to visit other places during our stay. And then, she failed to show at all! The personality of the host was untenable. We are what I consider to be a nice family and were hoping to receive a warm welcome to Switzerland. All of our other stay hosts were delightful and warm and the transactions went smooth.
