    Ards House is a traditional Victorian Villa situated on the shores of Loch Etive, in the small picturesque village of Connel. It is within a 15-minute walk from Connel Ferry Train Station, a bus stop (Read More) and the local pub. Ards House boasts panoramic views across the bay and mountains, and is just 5 miles north of the busy and popular town of Oban. Oban offers ferries to Isle of Mull and beyond, and is famous for its sea food. All rooms have been individually styled, most have sea views, and all have en-suite bathrooms. One of the highlights of the house is the large guest drawing room, with spectacular sea views, an open fire, a grand piano and a large flat-screen TV. Ards House offer a wide range of choice for breakfast, from a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast to smoked salmon, kippers and much more. All dishes are served using fresh and locally sourced produce. Ards House benefits from a large private car park and free WiFi.

    A charming, comfortable and welcoming stay.
    The room was beautiful, and at night we sat in the comfortable lounge with the fire roaring. The host was very helpful with recommendations for activities and very friendly.
    Would have preferred a bigger bed.

    Warm and inviting hosts! Excellent breakfast! Felt like home! Truly enjoyed meeting and conversing with other guests!
    It was all just perfect and had there been any problems the hosts would have been all too eager to fix!

    Lovely setting on a picturesque waterfront, beautiful house, well maintained, clean, comfortable and the host Chris was joyous and accomodating.

    Beautiful old Victorian house right in the loch
    Chris the co-proprietor extremely accommodating and helpful. Was able to give us ground floor room for elderly mum. And helped with dinner and breakfast suggestions and carrying out bags in the rain!
    Breakfast was limited to first come first served with the only time slot available at 8:30am, too early for us. Large family 3 bed room had long hallway to reach bathroomnot good for senior guest
