    Fabulous location with a beautiful, historic castle.
    The castle lived up to its reputation. It's beautiful inside and out. Breakfast was great and the ambience is amazing. The staff took great care of us. There was plenty of parking at the site.
    The car chargers wouldn't work with the fob Hertz provided but we were able to drive up to Firt William and charger there, not a big deal.

    Our stay was memorable!
    Very warm and helpful manager (Caroline) and staff!! We had a very enchanting 2night stay. Breakfast was delicious with many healthy options. Thank you.
    Some people might not like climbing the windy staircase to their room but we didnt mind one bit and my husband and I are both in our 70s! :)

    Luxury and character in a stunning location
    Fantastic location full of character (my room even had a secret passageway running down to the Great Hall in a stunning location. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and I had a very friendly welcome from the owner.
    The heating in my room wasnt working so it was a bit chilly.

    Loved the breakfast. The hotel was beautiful. Parking was good. Liked the coffee and treats in the room.
    The room was too small for 2 people. We felt we should have had a better room for the price we paid. The shower was very awkward. The shower turned ice cold in the middle of my shower, with no warning. The dinner situation in the area was inconvenient.

    Absolutely beautiful location and amazing staff
    The castle is absolutely stunning and a lot of care has gone to keeping the interior beautiful. The owner greeted us and could not have been lovelier to deal with. I would certainly recommend Barcaldine Castle to anyone who has a special occasion to celebrate or just deserves something lovely
