My family booked the villa to celebrate my husband's 40th and daughters 18th birthdays. We choose a private villa with pool as I have 2 young children who are registered disabled and have specific dietary requirements.i thought having our own private space would be far more relaxing, we wouldn't have to worry about other guests and could cook for the family.
There is a significant amount of steps leading up to the entrance of the property.(possibly 70 steps) They were very steep and we were shocked as they were never mentioned in the property description. The garden BBQ area is located up these steps on the way to the villa. Again if wanting to use this area.you need to climb the steep stairs.luckily noone in our family had mobility issues.
The pictures of the villa are very deceiving in my opinion.the kitchen is tiny as is the fridge and was not big enough for our size of family.we struggled to fit our food in..the gas hob and oven were old and the kitchen was in need of repair and modernisation.the walllpaper was very tatty and edges of the bench had come off. The pipes from the boiler were green.the gas oven was very old. ;There was not enough room to cook and prepare food. There was not enough surface space.
There was a very small washing machine situated in the middle of the stairway which was not ideal with 2 young children coming up and down stairs.it could only hold a very small load.
The doors of the bedrooms downstairs were cracked and you could see through the cracks. The ceiling light in one of the bedrooms was coming off. The bedding was clean however the beds were not very comfortable.
There was a significant amount of adapters for plugs in every room. These adapters had more adapters plugged into each other.in my opinion there were overloaded and hazardous.
The pool area again was very tired and in need of repair.the sunloungers were old and rusty. The wooden tableset and chairs were not well maintained and faded in colour.
