I've stayed at this Resort off and on for about 20 years. Even with the renovations I don't see any upgrades or big differences to the property. I love the fact that you can have ocean view. Also the free parking helps. What I didn't like was when I checked in my bathtub had hair in it. I don't know when the last time the floors were mopped because the entire room floors were dirty. I let the front desk know that I had some cleaning issues in my room and she wanted to move us. Unfortunately we had unpacked at this time. So I went out to buy my own cleaning products. I checked in on 12/23 and checked out 12/26 so I had to clean. If you don't mind thin washcloths you will be happy here. I will give Boardwalk Resorts a 5.5.

Enjoyable. Accommodations were nice for two. Maybe would have been tight for four adults. Perfect for our holiday needs.

Very friendly staff. Parking was free

Problems with being charged three times. It was refunded but not sure if it was booking or hotels fault and took several attempts to rectify.

Superb

Has a very pleasant stay at a lovely resort hotel.

Great amenities, comfortable rooms, outstanding indoor swimming pool, beach front.

Floors in room were gritty and could have used a mopping. Off season caused hotels restaurant to be closed.

Comfortable with a good view and great location

Great location, clean facilities, way larger than expected and fully equipped. It felt like a timeshare and it was close to everything plus the parking was on site. Awesome pool and hot tub

Some of the equipment was dated. We had a hike planned months in advance. We were leaving at around 9 AM but there was a parade outside, we asked the front desk "how do we get out?" they replied "you can't but check with the cops on the street". The cops said "the parade is scheduled until 3 PM." We felt like the hotel should have told us in advance about this parade preventing us from leaving in our own car. If we were checking out our way back would have been completely ruined.

A wonderful retreat to refresh and get ready for the next season.

I booked a city view room with a kitchen, expecting it to be more like a kitchenette and settling for the beach being out the back door of the hotel. Instead, the room was super spacious, had a living room and a full kitchen. Plus there was a view of part of the beach from the bedroom window that I could see from the dining table if I left the door open. There was a balcony that overlooked Atlantic which was also really neat. And the tub was big and deep, making for a lovely bath. And the staff was great!

It is the off season, so there were a few hiccups. The onsite restaurant is closed for the season, and the concierge hours are a little inconsistent. There were also only bath towels in the bathroom, rather than a hand towel and washcloth, which I'm guessing has to do with it being off season as well. But, some amenities being a little more limited in the off season is expected, and none of those things really detracted from the stay. It was really awesome.
