Bed beautiful but far too large for bedroom - made getting in and out of shower room awkward. Not sure about AGA for a holiday apartment - not a fan!

Very enjoyable weekend away

Me and my girlfriend stayed here as part of my birthday celebrations. We actually came to Dolgellau last year, and loved it so much we decided to come again, although this is/was the first time staying at this hotel. We stayed in the apartment which was perfect for us, although you do miss out on the views, but we were fine with that. The apartment is so cosy with a truly beautiful bathroom, and if you want to cook your own meals, you can do. We didn't as we went out every night, but it's there should you want it, plus a fridge if you fancied really being self-sufficient. The breakfast was brilliant, you can decide what you want the day before and the next day it will be made for you when you arrive for breakfast. There's also other snacks and food available at breakfast from cereal to fruit, etc. I tended to go for porridge but you can go for the all english breakfast if that's what you're into. The staff are really lovely, and very helpful if you require any assistance. We got some help in finding a walk that we were interested in on our final day. All in all, I would recommend this place.

It can be a little difficult finding the gate in the dark, so be on the lookout. We missed the turn off when we first arrived.

The fish tank was beautiful in the dining room which helped to relax and was a talking point

Lovely surroundings, cosy, quiet. Very nice rooms and breakfast area.balcony view is excellent, convenient walking distance to pub/restaurant over quirky toll bridge. Private air show from USAF, seen from car park in the morning was impressive

TV system warned me it was operating at high temperature as soon as I started it, which was a little alarming, may need a little attention.

We do a lot of travelling - this is by far the best we've stayed in.

Beautiful location. Well equipped and fabulous decor and unique artworks. Excellent breakfasts. Thank you Marilyn, Amanda and Svitlana for making this a special and comfortable stay.
