Expensive, suitable for short term stays with access to a vehicle

The cottage was fitted out reasonably well although there s very little stoarage space. Some small drawer units in the bedroom would have helped. Removing the rocking chair would only benefit the bedroom.

We were initially put off by the small size of the cottage and the narrow winding stairs although, staying there for 2 weeks we eventually came to terms with this. There were no instructions for using any of the appliances particularly the heating. Although there was a dishwasher and rubbish bin in the kitchen there were no tablets for the former and no bags for the latter. We had to purchase them and finding small quantities of dishwasher tablets wasn't easy. The cottage is situated on the very busy Ipswich Road. Although the distance and time to the site where I work was similar to other places we have stayed in the area, my wife was failrly stranded there and a vehicle is required to access almost everything. The wi-fi (Sky) and mobile signal (Vodafone) were terrible, not disimilar to many other areas of Norfolk

The cottage was comfortable, clean and tidy, the facilities were very good, the location was good to explore the surrounding area, coast and north Norfolk was about an hour away

Enjoyable stay in a lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage and garden very well equipped .

Unfortunately the weather was not good and we found the lounge cold although it had a log burner but we didnt light it as we were in and out, perhaps a small electric appliance would be useful.

Lovely place, perfect for our needs. Great location for visiting my Mum a couple of villages away. Secure garden for the dog. Bed so comfy. Welcome pack of prosseco and dog treats much appreciated. Will definitely be staying again.

Very good

Cosy compact cottage for two

Beautifully furbished interior and well-equipped. Good size for two plus dog, with a properly fenced garden. We all appreciated the welcome pack. Our hosts coped well with our puppy-related emergency. It's convenient for Norwich.

The very cold weekend showed up the lack of living room radiator and limited heating upstairs - we didn't have the confidence to fire up the wood burner, and the heating system turned itself off repeatedly, so it got a little chilly at times. The gate in the garden couldn't be properly bolted. It is quite close to the busy A140, though the background noise was not too bad.
