Disappointing

The house is very old and definitely needs some work to be done.I would not recommend if you want to have a quiet family

The one thing good about this Chalet is their location. Very nice view

Not family friendly, not wheelchair friendly The kitchen and the living room was downstairs and my nephew is in a wheelchair and he couldnt come down the stairs. We did ask before renting the place. The beds were not really comfortable. The house is really old so you could hear every step someone made. Overal not so clean. The plates, pans everything was still oily.

Superb

The best place I ever stayed in my life.

The place was amazing with breathtaking views, the Chalet was clean, cozy, spacious, family friendly, with all necessary equipment, I fell in love with the whole place.

The whole property was amazing with real Swiss cultural characteristics but it still needs some modernisation and the upstairs and downstairs toilet must have to have locks on it.

Exceptional

Superb stay!

The holiday home is located in the middle of urban and city area, which is nice. It is one bus ride (5mins) away from city center. The outskirt of city centre offers jaw dropping view of Grindelwald, especially sunset and night skies. The place house itself is old and some part of it is dirty (spider webs etc) but overall cleanliness and tidy is within acceptable range. The house can easily sleep 12 guests, spacious common area, kitchen has everything we need and the host is super responsive. Would definitely recommend and come again.

The walking distance to the house from terminal... Guys, trust the comments, the slope is not walkable with luggage at hand. Jesus christ.

Nice property, not for elderly with accessibility issues, not flexible with cancellation policy

We were travelling with elderty people who have difficulty with walking, and specifically with stairs. I made this clear writing to the property asking sepcifically about the subject. I feel I did not get honest enough answers. We did not realize the property had 3 levels, other staircase that's not in photos is very narrow. Railing to lower level is shaky at top. We booked 4 nights. More than 48 hour before last night we asked to cancel only that night, which I thought was a fair request, because my parents couldnt go down the stairs. Property refused to refund that last night. For property that writes "walk in showers" and when asked explicitly about accessibility I would expect more fair attitude. Otherwise I can see how for a family without accessibility issued this is a very nice place to stay.

Very good

The chalet was big and spacious but outdated. Desperately in need of refurbishment. Views and Kitchen facilities were excellent.

The chalet is at the top of the hill so the hike up to get to the chalet from the train station was very challenging with all our luggages. There were spiders webs almost in all bedroom.
