My reasons why I wouldnt stay again...
1. You have to go via the sky prime office to check in, this is miles away from the villa. I emailed the day before and they said I could arrive between 12-1. I got there at 12.15 after a long drive with two kids. They said it wouldnt be ready for another hour! Poor organisation.
2. I got to the villa at 1.15, they said the lift wasnt working. My friend had a bad knee which was one of the reasons we booked this villa so she didnt have to climb up 4 flights of steps! Again, very poor service. No apology, nothing.
3. The fridge had only been turned on when got there meaning it took ages to cool.
4. The juccuzzi on the roof - nice touch, if they turn up the heat before you get there... they didnt! It was on 20 degrees when we got there, it took a full night for it to warm up which was meaning we couldnt go in the first night. Waste of time / money.
5. The ipads. So each room has a little iPad and theres an iPad on the wall in the corridors to control the whole house, sounds clever but its really not. To turn the bathroom light on you need to go to the door of the bedroom rather than the door of the bathroom (which is really confusing at 2am when you wake up needing the toilet!) The wardrobe lights dont go off, they flash in every room. They kept one of my children awake, which was really annoying! (The rooms are also not black out) Another problem with the iPads, the hot water isnt on automatically, which we never got told on check in. Which meant we lost a hour of our day waiting for hot water to come on, then the next day it had just gone off again! We couldnt even get hot water in the kitchen.
6. We had ants, lots of ants!!!
7. So you think your getting a luxury villa but they dont tell you none of the luxury is actually included! To have a bbq you need to pay extra, to have a coffee you need to pay extra, which for over 500 a night youd expect these to be included!
