Perfect hotel for a stay in East London

- Perfect location close to buses, Brick Lane neighborhood & the Overground - Easy access to the building with key code & special appreciation to D8 team for letting me check in earlier - Decoration is really nice - The room has everything that you would need & is very clean (charger plugs, fresh towels, shower gel & shampoo)

- Last time I came they were cookies in the kitchen but not this time

Superb

Cozy place, packed with everything we needed for a half work - half vacation trip. Good use of space in the room, we even had a small office area which was really useful. Complimentary coffee and tea was also nice. Nice area, lots of coffeeshops and eateries around.

Great location Windows opened!!

Basic. Drains smelled Smashed tile in shower Door rattled whenever someone closed theirs, huge gap under bedroom door to hallway. Bathroom VERY small. No head board? No plug sockets near enough to mirror. Went to make a coffee at 9 am and water heater water was cold. Had to wait 10 mins to boil! Extremely high price for an ok stay. D8 kindly offered 15% off next stay but not looking to return.

Clean, good location, well equipped

Too much communication. Far too many messages in the lead up to check in, an overly detailed check in process, a fault with the deposit link and then more communication, a check out link. Just too much. Needs simplifying. Also an explanation that you need to press the black door handle to turn it into a keypad would be helpful. Its no obvious in the dark.

The room was comfy, thick black out curtains. Spacious and very clean bathroom. Good location.

Despite requesting it a week before, No flexibility at all from staff to check in early! Room was cold when I arrived and bathroom was freezing (heating were off). Super unpractical bathroom outside of the room, at the end of the corridor with a coded handle (not convenient when hands are taken by your clothes and towel to go shower). No sink/water access in the bedroom, no kettle, cup nor tea neither (which is always pleasant to have in the evening and morning). Tight stair case, main entrance door of building was open on arrival around 10pm (not secure) and the light in the 1st part of the stairs did not work (pretty dangerous when having a suitcase to bring upstairs). Overall ok but overpriced for what it is!! Will not go back.
