Day 1
Upon arrival/checkin to the home there was a pile of garbage in the bin at the front door. the very first bedroom to your immediate right smelled of mold/moisture heavily, especially in the adjoined bathroom/closet area.fthere were soiled bed covers (underneath the fitted sheets, this was discovered upon following check procedures of removing fitted sheets). 7 of the 9 tvs Im the home are inoperable. A message was sent to the host to inform of the issues in the home and video was taken as well. there was clear evidence of water damage in the ceilings of the first and seconds floors. on the 2nd floor we noticed a small damp spot in the carpet, but equated it to water from the cleaning crew.
Day 2
The host agreed to have someone come take a look at the TVs. A 17 year old minor child was dropped off at the home by a women driving a vehicle to fix the Roku/tv issues. the minor child left without resolving the issue nor did the adult/host come into the home to repair. The odor of mold is still heavily noticeable to my guests including two requiring to use their inhalers for relief.
Day 3
On the afternoon of the 3rd day it rain jHEAVILYm, the ceiling of the 2nd floor began pouring water into the loft near the HVAC closet. the same area where we noticed damp carpets upon arrival. the paint bubbled and you could certainly tell this was not the first leak. the dry wall had clear indications of being re-spackled/covered up. I immediately called the host to inform them.
Day 4
an inspector came to the home to and confirm visually and by smell that the home indeed has mold issues. photos and videos where taken by myself of the other instances of mild throughout. when asked about a refund the host advised a refund would only be given if a review was not posted of the home.
there were prior reviews where a guest made mention of TVs not working and washer leak/flood. unfortunately we did not see these reviews until after check in.
