Happy with our stay there, would recommend overall.

We booked an Executive room to treat ourselves and it was wonderful - pictures did not lie, lots of space, even had our own little Christmas tree with lights! The view was superb, bed was big and comfy, big bathroom too. Friendly staff. Really felt like we had treated ourselves, with the size of the room and the view, and the sofa positioned to look out to sea, it was worth the cost.

Dinner was OK, but quality didn't match the level of the room and hotel overall. Was disappointed that the TV in the bathroom didn't work - absolutely not essential, but when I saw it I was looking forward to spoiling myself with a bath watching TV :)

Slight disappointment

Location. Price. Breakfast.

I've stayed at the East Beach in the past and been completely satisfied - this time however I drew the short straw and got a room which was "cheap for a reason" - a cramped "matchbox room" with one of those equally cramped bathrooms (not the worst such, but not ideal)
