It is ideally located between the Central Bandstand and the Wish Tower, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Eastbourne Beacon Shopping Centre. All rooms at the West Rocks Townhouse are en suite and feature a TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Many rooms feature stunning sea views and views across the English Channel. Pets are subject to pre booking and a fee per pet. Renowned for being the sunniest resort in Britain, Eastbourne offers a 4 mile long, pebbled beach, which stretches from Sovereign Harbour to Beachy Head. The beach is directly outside the West Rocks Townhouse. The property is also conveniently located for the Congress Theatre, just 5 minutes’ walk away. On-street parking is available outside the hotel, If you secured a space in areas marked Zone H - the hotel can provide a permit for £2.20 per day - some side roads are free - We cannot guarantee or reserve parking

Lovely, friendly seaside hotel!

Super location, lovely sea views, really friendly and knowledgable staff. Family rooms were more like suites with a separate room within the room. Comfy beds and pillows with complimentary chocolates and sweets!

One of the bathrooms (out of the 3 rooms we had) needed some updating but still perfectly useable.

Perfect warm, friendly stay for a show at the theatre or winter gardens

Great seafront location close to Winter Gardens where our event was. Lovely and warm on a cold wet and windy weekend. Great friendly service, staff could Not have been more helpful. Nice touches of a morning snack bag and treats available in ten lobby whenever you wanted.

Good outcome from customer service

Despite the cancellation mentioned below, we felt looked after by the staff at West Rocks who transferred our booking to a larger hotel with good reviews and similar terms for the same price that suited us very well. So despite the cancellation, we received excellent customer service.

West Rocks Townhouse messaged to cancel our booking about a month in advance because of "unforeseen circumstances". Without further explanation, I assume they may have wanted to clear our booking for 1 night to make way for someone who wanted to stay for longer during the half-term week.

slightly disappointing

location

some parts of the hotel are very dated and need some TLC and maintenance. for example our window wouldnt open properly and would have to be propped up with a book. the layout of the room was really weird and awkward and the furniture was completely mismatched. we thought it was weird that the wallpaper had river fish when we were by the seaside but that was the nicest feature of the room. the side sea view was a con and we had a guest from a neighbouring hotel spying into our window with binoculars therefore making our stay rather uncomfortable.

Position of the property and the possibility to have a parking ticket for the entire day for just two pounds.

Old windows that that with the wind of that night they made the room quite cold and very noisy. The apartment wasn't really clean.
