It was a Embassy location I never been to so the set up inside was different. Not sure if I like the type where the rooms all are open and face the concourse below. I stayed here for NYE so there was so many people there with kids from little to teens. First off when I arrived for check in at 4pm with my guest, my room was not ready. Actually NOBODY room was ready. The manager was at the front desk letting guest know it will be another 45mins before we can get our room. She told us to just enjoy happy hour at the bar and snack area but I personally wanted to go to my room to relax before all the festivities started. I wanted to allow time for my guest to swim and get ready for dinner reservations at 7pm. We didnt get into our room until 545 and my guest only had a hour to swim. SMH. Next, after I returned from my dinner, I was in my room relaxing with my guest and kept having kids running back and forth in front of my room knocking on the door. One of my guest looked up reviews for the same hotel and it was stated on there that kids running and knocking on doors is a common thing that happens at this hotel as well as playing on the elevators (which a set of them stopped working while being there, forcing every to use the other 2 which provided a problem with having to get to your room or downstairs in a timely manner. Lines and wait accumulating at the elevator just to leave. Another issue was, when I went to bed that night, the trimming on the wall corner in my room was coming off and sticking out in the middle of the area where I laid. I had to keep pushing it back into the wall. My bathroom sink was clogged the entire stay and even tried to pull the drain up myself and it would not go. There was hair stuck to parts of the bathroom floor indicating that they are not cleaning this hotel that well. That would be obvious from earlier in the day having to wait for housekeeping to finishing flipping rooms for us to check in.
