Great hosts and excellent stay. A home from home!

Have stayed before and love the ease and comfort of this place! Staff communicate brilliantly. A fuse tripped the shower (I think due to poor weather) and we called the host who came immediately to fix. The problem did not re-occur. Comfortable, warm and feels like a home from home.

Fair price for a budget stay with comfy bed - take your own coffee!

Friendly welcome, clean warm spacious room. Fantastically comfortable bed! Quiet to sleep

The towels were damp because they were so cold but I put one on radiator. The coffee sachets were old and wouldnt come out of sachet as clumped together. Made coffee but it was undrinkable

Disappointed read the reviews and they sound good

The location

We booked the king size bedroom and was shown a room with two single beds I said this is not what we booked the gentleman said he would get his wife to put the two single beds together we said leave it and was not offered any other room The price for the room was expensive and no breakfast So be careful when you book you get the right room

It is not near anything so you basically have to drive to restaurants, etc

Great location and room size, but perhaps there is more that could be done to make this a great stay

No breakfast offered, and the room was an excellent size.

The beds were too soft, this meant I was unable to get much sleep, and in the morning the shower had blown, so we had to call the owner - as the trip switch had blown. Although the issue was dealt with swiftly and in the early hours of f the morning, this added to the stress for the day.

Lovely stay, good choice for Upshire stay

Very friendly staff and lovely rooms, basic but absolutely fine for the price, clean and well appointed. Shower was powerful and usual tea and coffee (& biscuits!) provided.
