48 hours in Marseille

The location is fantastic for a short weekend break, right in the heart of the action. The staff were so nice, really helpful.

The room was slightly too warm and it could only be cooled by leaving the window open but this meant it let in the road noise in.

Just the location and staff very polite and friendly

The room was very poor stains on the carpet and bed sheets were not very clean cracked glass on the skylight window in the bathroom definitely not 4 star standard the Air conditioning not working in the bottom half of the Duplex Suite stains on the chair and sofa looked very tired the room looked very dark and grotty

The Sofa Beds in the Mezzanine rooms are of poor quality and need to be replaced with proper Sofa Beds. What we had was an odd contraption.

Very good

I asked for and got a very quiet room on the inside of the hotel. No view, and a little gloomy, but my sleep was not disturbed by church bells, traffic or noise from the port. Lovely view of the port from the bar and breakfast room on the first floor. And the breakfast was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

No parking. although it seems that no hotels in the centre of Marseille have parking facilities. I eventually found the hotel, but it was not possible to stop anywhere near the hotel (the entrance is actually in a pedestrian street blocked off by bollards). It's best to locate a public car park nearby (the Hotel de Ville, for instance) and drive straight there before going to the hotel.
