Great to have such a nice hotel welcoming dogs. I always stay here now when en route to Scotland.

Pleasant
Pleasant
The staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful, responsive. And the location is lovely, with lots of walking and cycling possibilities, although there was no drying room at the hotel for wet walking gear.
The room and food were both pleasant, relatively modest but fine for us. Only the prices were disappointing.

Good
Comfortable night in quirky hotel.
Hotel was easy to find, rooms were clean. Bed was comfy and liked that I could open window to get fresh air in so room did not get too hot. Peaceful Location.
Did find the hotel a bit overpriced and (my error) hadn't appreciated how remote it was. Food was good but a limited menu. The parking was not easy given, it's the only hotel on that road, some parking was on the roadside - maybe needs to be mentioned if people are concerned about that.

Great stay but needs better attention to detail to compete.
Lovely rustic building. Absolutely amazing example of art deco.
Cleanliness. Too much dust. Flys on windowsill were not cleaned away.
