    Nice colourful hotel, good location.
    The hotel has a nice eclectic style. Last renovation was in the 80s or 90s? The room needs to have an update into the 21st century. And could be twice as big. For example. Looking foward to De La Paix 2.0!

    Good hotel in Lille, but email the property about thermostat
    The hotel looks much better than in the photos. It has been recently renovated, but maintains the vintage charm. So thats a real plus. Room is comfortable, but I thought the bathroom was a bit too old.
    We had an issue with the thermostat. The room was simply too warm and it was very difficult to sleep. We had to open the window and, because it is in a busy street, there was a lot of noise from the outside.

    Check lifts in the Property work before booking if you have any issues with stairs.
    Our room was on the second floor which would have been fine had the lifts been working. They were out of order. Mobility issues made the steep flights of stairs not ideal. Staff didn't really show any concern at all.

    Great location between and convenient for both the rail station and the old city. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good continental breakfast. Late checkout.

    Great little weekend break.
    The hotel was clean, cosy and had a great 1930s style. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
    It would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in our room. Also the bar was not very well stocked.
