    Despite the breakfast, we love this hotel and have been several times and have booked to go back.
    The view was amazing. We had a room with a private terrace which I would highly recommend.
    The breakfast was ok but the "hot" food was cold unfortunately. I would recommend ordering the fresh eggs from the kitchen as they come out hot. The toaster is very slow.

    Location is great and views are stunning
    Rooms need updating, no bar,so hence not serving drinks, bathroom needs updating,overpriced. Staff not welcoming , no greeting felt more like an inconvenience were informed on arrival restaurant closed for a week . Our third visit in last 5 yrs and standard has declined, more like a b&b than a hotel now. Breakfast nice but now no waitor service. The warm welcoming feel has gone. We upgraded to a balcony sea view room and for the extra 260 euros for the 4 days apart from the obvious not worth the money, one bottle of water in mini bar for 1st day and that was it. This was one of our favourite hotels but unfortunately won't be coming back unless standard improves.

    The village and local residents and the high standards off the restaurant s.
    Lack off staff in la Fonda and very ordinary breakfast with no cleaning off the floors in the breakfast floors in 4 days .

    A wonderful hotel, set in the centre of one of the most delightful villages in Andalucia.
    Helpfulness of the staff. Location within the pueblo. Views from the bedroom. General ambience and character of the hotel.
    My wife and I had made a special choice to stay at the La Fonda after spending a week there five years ago. One of the things we were looking forward to was the restaurant and also the option of having a drink in the hotel after supper. I was more than surprised when told neither the bar or the restaurant were open. I was rather taken aback, as it should have been pointed out to us at the time of the booking. We were most disappointed.
