Hotel Maria del Mar

1. We were staying at the newer/renovated part of the hotel, however, soundproof isolation is not good enough. 2. Air condition outdoor unit was on the terrace, however, it seems that the AC outdoor unit on our terrace was used for few more rooms. Since even if you turn the AC off in the room, outdoor AC unit keeps working and heating the terrace. Since there is no AC system, its just a separate unit for each room connected all on one outdoor unit that was on our terrace. So in most cases it was impossible to chill out on the terrace. 3. In order to access the building where the rooms are located, you have to go around the building outside, and then you can go in, which was a bit weird. 4. Breakfast was almost the same every day, food didn't meet our expectations, each day eggs and chorizo, without omelet available (omelet was available for dinner only). It could be a lot better, also dinner could be much better, offer could have more meet, more chicken/beef. 5. Most of the meals were either not hot or get unavailable quickly since there were many guests, and it seems that the kitchen is not that big for the busy season. 6. In order to leave the restaurant you have to go thru the hallways (that look like fire exit), because its not allowed to leave on the door you entered. Then you have to go around the building again in order to access the area with the rooms. 7. No Sangria available during the dinner. Which is a bit weird. 8. No showers available for the people that wanna use swimming pool. Strong recommendation for a hotel is to reorganize/renovate the hotel entrance for the new part of the hotel, and remove AC from the terrace, include Sangria in the bar offer during the dinners, improve soundproof isolation, and add more meals for dinners and breakfast
