    We loved our stay at golden haveli. We had amazing greeting from the hosts and any questions or problems they resolved. Our room was big and spacious, beds comfy and nice with aircon. Nandu the owner took us on a lovely puja and around the town and he's very knowledgeable about the culture and religion. We are going to come back!! Thank you

    The owners and staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly. Nothing is too much to ask. The rooftop is a lovely place to sit and chill with stunning views of the mountains and town. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. It's only about 10 minutes walk into the centre, however you have everything you need around Golden Haveli. I will definitely return. Thank you Nandu and Govinda.

    Not ideal for solo female travellers or people who like to sleep before midnight
    The hotel was just ok - lacking in supplies, no soap, no bin... most staff were friendly though and it was only a 15 minute walk into the main market
    I think I must have been too friendly as a solo female traveller as the owner made several attempts to kiss me even after I said no. These advances got worse over the few days I was there and eventually I cancelled my booking and moved hotels to avoid further issues. The restaurant opposite often plays extremely loud trance style music until midnight and it was impossible to sleep until it stops. Not recommended for single female travellers or people who like sleep at reasonable times

    The overall hotel is okayish. The bathrooms were not clean and the geysers did not work. Cleanliness was a factor which we did not appreciate
