Great location

Great location, within walking distance of the town and all the bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unexpected decor in an elegant package

The hotel was in a good location, close to restaurants and shops but also far enough away to be quiet. The staff were friendly and the shower was really good. The lobby and bar area were quite funky looking

Lovely hotel

A beautiful hotel in a great location with lovely staff. We were staying for a rugby match and it rained all day. We were soaked to the skin arriving back to the hotel and the staff dried our coats for us. They were so helpful.

The only thing that I would say I didn't like is that there was no mirror in the Bedroom. A mirror above the desk in the room would be very nice for women getting ready. The only mirror is in the bathroom.

The Monnaie was an excellent place for a short stay in La Rochelle - we will probably stay here again.

We liked the oldness of the property and the courtyard within. Excellent breakfasts

Disappointing

Never to return

Breakfast was what can be expected by 4-star hotel

Hotel advertise having in-parking charging for an electric car. At arrival they forwarded us to a public charge point, not compatible with any of our 4 different charge cards. Next day we lost 45 min to charge at a fast charger on the highway to the next location. If you don't have the capabilities don't advertise them. Room not what can be expected from a 4-star hotel

Great location and would have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the lack of wifi!

It was a very nice hotel, with very friendly staff in an ideal location.

No wifi in our room. It was really important because I needed to do quite a lot of work but I had to go down into the very noisy reception in order to do everything because there was no wifi available in my room.
