Our stay started off really well, but unfortunately a lot went downhill on the day we checked out. We said that we were going to use the spa on the day we check-out, and booked our breakfast slot at 8am, so that we would have enough time to go to the spa (open 8am-8pm, 11 per person). We got there at about 9.15am but the sauna was old, so we went to reception in our bathrobes and the lady switched it on, saying it would take maximum 10min to heat up, which seemed unlikely! We went into the jacuzzi for about 20min tried the sauna again, but it was still lukewarm, so we gave up and went back to our room to get ready to leave. Noone was at Reception, then after about ten minutes, two female guests told me that Check-out is in the breakfast room, so I dragged my bags back, the two ladies were served first, and another couple arrived a few minutes after I did. The lady doing the check-out (Italian-speaking), although she saw me, then went to serve the couple instead of me, and I then interrupted and said I was actually here first and waiting a long time already. She sort of rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to have a small conversation with the couple in French thinking I didn't understand anything because I asked to do the check-out in English and all three were talking about how silly I was behaving etc. I complained about the spa, and she first said that it takes time to heat up etc, but I said it should be ready from 8am-8pm, so 9.30am is a bit late, so she finally agreed to take the charge off the bill. I also mentioned that the hair dryer was broken in our room and she offered for me to get one from Reception, but I just said no, no, it just needs to be fixed for the next guest, and she just went 'oh, yeah yeah' and then all three of them said something again, but I didn't quite understand that time. It was really rude, and just for that, I would not return to the hotel. At almost 300 per night, I would expect better service.
