    Wonderful hosts, wonderful setting and a great spot to dip in and out of the lakes. Superb.
    Charming and homely set in beautiful grounds. Hosts were superb and the little extras such as chocolates on the bed, fresh towels, coffee and jams were such a lovely touch. Wish we had booked for longer, as do the kids!
    A little close to the road but didnt really notice it was there. Main shower room was a bit dated and water was slow to drain making for quick showers. Apart from that, nothing.

    Nicely furnished cozy cottage, nice view of greenery. Spacious for three of us.
    The place was not ready when we arrived. It seems the family which rented it did not clean up the dishwasher properly hence the floor was filled with foam and wet. Host informed us that she will come back the next day to fix it but didn't. She might be too tired as she seemed to still have difficulty clearing the mess when we arrived. So floor was still wet and foam coming out from dishwasher the next day. Very disappointed with accommodation since past reviews were very good. We left the cottage cleaner then when found it upon our arrival.

    Ideal location for discovering Lake district and discreetly set back from main road. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. Snug, homely, and warm.
    The main bedroom layout is a bit tricky for using facilities, eg, heater, wardrobes as furniture so close together and bedframe has sharp corners. Need to organise belongings so can easily use daily.

    Short break to visit Lakes and S&C Railway
    Nice cottage on the edge of Tebay, just off the M6. Warm, clean, and comfortable. We stayed for a few days which was just about right to see the local area, trip into the Lake District, visit the Settle-Carlisle railway etc. The owner was great - very friendly and responsive to any questions. Recommended.

    Compact and cosy, very clean. Super comfy beds. Two bathrooms. Kitchen fully applianced. Spacious garden. Super convenient location to the Lakes
    Were very sensitive to noise so the background hum of the M6 was noticeable to us. Rooms a little small so had to be mindful maneuvering around the furniture (cracked my knee on the salon table) and had to climb into my side of the bed from the end. Showers a little weak
