More of a FYI as opposed to dislike - We arrived quite late owing to a missing luggage issue at the airport so it was dark when we were dropped off at the apartment and Claudine had rung to let us know that she had left the door open & light on. So when we arrived, having been dropped at the front of the chalet (of which the apartment is a part of), as there was a light on I tried to open the only door that I could see but it was locked. I ended up waking the man who lived in that part of the chalet (a very very nice man) who advised that the apartment door was actually around the back of the chalet. So as you look at the front of the chalet its to the left, around the side & down 2 steps. Once in & settled we went to bed as we were hoping to be up & out early the following day but we couldnt get to sleep at all that night owing to a clanking sound that seemed to be coming from the heating system. I contacted Claudine the following day and in fairness she got the issue sorted as soon as possible & for the remainder of the week there was no issue. There was a little noise from the people upstairs but no more than if you were staying in a hotel and it really only impacted us on our last day when we werent going skiing & were sleeping in. The kitchen has what I think is a granite work top so you do need to be careful especially when putting glass down. I put a wine glass down (not roughly) and the stem broke off. The only other issue I had was a communication issue as I dont speak French & Claudine, while her English is definitely better than my French, struggled a bit with English so I would use Google Translate to send her the messages both in English & French. On that - If English speaking only bring a USB or some device to play movies / programmes as there doesnt seem to be English speaking channels available on the TV.
