We enjoyed our stay in the heart of Korea Town @ Libra Hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Sunny, the manager was delightful on top of everything else. Clean, comfortable, great location to explore food, shops, architecture.
    N/A no complaints.

    Poor
    absolutely not worth its money
The location in Koreatown is not bad. The beds are fine. There's a fridge, a microwave and a TV.
Our stay was very disappointing. First, the water in the shower was lukewarm, there was a towel missing, and the place was too cleaned properly. There's no reception desk so if you a have a question, they respond to you the next day. I tried to contact to the hotel via text on booking and tried to call them but there was no reply. They replied the next day and brought a towel. But the next day the light was out in the bathroom and there was no fixing the problem and no response to the problem again. So again we couldn't use the bathroom. It was cold at night and the kitchen is dirty and not very pleasant to use. The internet connection is bad. I asked for a discount but the manager ignored me.

    Good Stay Overall
I got a private room with a friend and my sister. We didn't know what to expect, but we immediately felt safe that we had to get buzzed in to get inside the hotel. After checking in, you get key cards to your room. The cards have a code to open the front door of the hotel after, so you can go in and out of the hotel freely. The lady that checked us in was so nice and helpful! She really made sure we felt comfortable and was accommodating the 2 days we stayed. The room was nice and spacious and the private bathroom was good! We also all appreciated that there was a fridge and microwave. It really came in handy. Our room also came with a really nice A/C and heater unit. Most importantly, the room was decently clean. We were going to the Wiltern to watch a concert. The walking distance was so short and it was relatively safe to walk back at night. Overall, we had such a good stay! If we ever need a place to stay in Koreatown, we would definitely come back here again ( :
These are all small things, but the room could have used a bit of some dusting on certain surfaces. The fridge and microwave had a bit of a smell, but it was okay. We had wipes to wipe it all down, so it wasn't a big issue.

I wiil never come back in
The mattress was really bad. The springs inside the mattress were stabbing my lower back, so I couldn't sleep at all and ended up sleeping on the floor.

Great place to stay for cheap lodging close to the city.
I liked the location of the place as it was in the heart of koreatown allowing me to explore a lot of the sites with ease. The parking also made things a lot easier and all in all, it was a solid place to lodge. The service was excellent as well.
I feel like the rooms could have been more sound proof but honestly not really a complaint.

Overall i would stay again. It is a quint hotel hidden in a bustling area with an inn type of feel and in walking distan
The hotel is like a hidden gem very close to downtown area in Korea Town. Plenty of restaurants and places im walking distance. We were seeing a band at The Wiltern which is only two blocks away so it was easy to walk there and walk back. The Libra has an old style, quaint feel to it where you directly check in with the owner or close employee who was very sweet and even politely escorted to our room. The room itself was fine, very open and plain but clean. It was suitable for our stay as we werent concerned with posh surroundings like most corporate hotel rooms and we quickly got comfortable and made ourself at home. I would say it would have been nice to have a second chair at the table. Overall i would stay again. It is a quint hotel hidden in a bustling area with an inn type of feel and in walking distances of many bars, restaurants, andu a venue. Just be aware it is an old building and it can be loud at night cause the area.
Some of the problems to consider is parking is difficult to find as they do not have their own parking area, so you will want to pull up and unload your things and have one person check in as i was lucky to find non-restricted parking spot two blocks away in the residential area that you can only park in for certain hours and parking goes fast. You may also want to bring some sort of sleeping ear muffs as you are in a downtown area and there is a lot of honking and sirens and as it is an old building it was not built to insulate sound or reduce it, but that is the cost of being in a downtown area. Luckily it wasnt a problem for us. Check out was simple by just dropping off the key card and leaving before the check out time

I chose this hotel because it was so close to the Wiltern theater and Korea Town; great
I liked that it was located in Korea Town. I loved the friendliness of the manager Parking lot was perfect and convenient The room was way above what I expected Huge bathroom, very clean It felt like a bedroom instead of an ugly hotel room I was very satisfied Security of property and gated parking lot were a plus
The neighborhood wasn't the best I actually felt bad that the Korean families had to live in a run down area Most of the Korean restaurants weren't open for lunch
