    No heating in December?!!
    Nice decor
    No heating my 88 year old father whom it was booked for found there was absolutely no heat in his room...he was frozen slept in clothes coat and towels. 3am before he found someone to assist him. Then no hot breakfast despite having ordered it. Only one member of staff on

    Personnel was friendly. The lodge was very well situated for my business visits. Withe a little effort it could be a great place to stay. The restaurant and pub were OK.
    No cooked breakfast, Water in between the dubbel glazing in the windows, heater in the bathroom didn't work. Bathroom needs refurbishing. To be honest people were working in the rooms below so I presume that the lodge is working on them.

    Not terrible, however I would not return.
    The location, the cooked breakfast was great, some of the staff were great others very poor.
    The room was not very clean, a number of long hairs in the bed and the bed was old and very uncomfortable.

    Very poor value for money. Desperately in need of renovating.
    Easy to park outside. Breakfast included which was a nice surprise. Convenient situation for my needs.
    Dirty bathroom. Black mould around bath. Floor dirty. Used towel hanging on door. Horrible, dirty, broken down air con machine with gaping holes by the bed. Very tired and dilapidated room.

    Disappointed that there was no apology about the noise.
    Old uncomfortable mattress. Broken toilet seat. Very noisy with people leaving the bar, waiting for taxis, directly outside bedrooms, constant noise between midnight and 1.00am and no concern shown by staff. Their reaction: oh, that was just a one off!! So maybe we were just unlucky? Also not a very warm welcome at breakfast! The guy took my plate/knife after Id had one slice of toast and when I asked if I could have another knife he looked at his watch and said its not unlimited breakfast you know!
