Superb

Had a great stay overall and will be reccomending this hotel to others

Loved the views and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast area is a very nice space. Will definitely recommend this hotel to other people and would definitely return again.

Paid for the Turkish bath but there was no one around in the wellness centre to tell us any info and the Turkish bath room looked closed. Would have liked a bar on a night time looking out over the view. Would be nice if the breakfast area turned into a bar at night. Evening buffet was very overpriced in my opinion.

The location and view of the hotel was superb. Great breakfast options available were excellent and, staff was helpful. Enjoyed our stay greatly and would recommend the hotel to others.

Breakfast start time of 7:30 was a little too late, would have been helpful to have access to at least some of the ready breakfast options, such as coffee/tea, cereal, milk and juice at an earlier time.

Great views & good location to get in/out of Funchal and explore, food quality really let it down.

Our sea-facing room had a fabulous view, especially for sunrise. The free shuttle into Funchal was a nice bonus, although you can't really take advantage of it for dinner as it stops at 6pm. We liked that we could walk into Funchal (40 mins), as well as some other areas where we found great cafes.

We had a kettle, but no tea or coffee supplied. The hairdryer and toiletries were terrible for a 4 star hotel. The bed was not the comfortable. The biggest let down however was the food. DO NOT opt for the buffet dinner. It was truly terrible and cost us 60 euros. Breakfast was ok, and if you like bread and meat it's probably fine. But the hot items were not good quality and as with dinner, everything hot was SO greasy! The gym was also disappointing. Everything was old and there was no aircon.

Fair Hotel.

A lot of possibilities to park the car near hotel. Good location with nice view, not very far from the strip with restaurants. Nice swimming pool with the good view. Cool night bar. View from the room and bathroom. Indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. Could be a good option for winter stay.

Price per night is high mainly because of hotel location. But it is worth for short stay. Water in swimming pool is a little bit cold, because there is no sun since noon. Sunbathing almost impossible, good for people alergic for sun.

Breathtaking view! Hotel have to review the approach to the guests.

City view from our room, roof swimming pool, amazing breakfast with a beautiful view as well

We were hiking 3 days before and arrived to the hotel dirty,sweaty backpackers tourists and receptionist treated us not very nice, it was very unpleasant. There is no free drinking water in the hotel at all, you have to buy it in a bar, same with ice Hm it is 4* hotel.

Great but just needs a revamp with that stunning view. Older decor but good facilities. A fresh brekky is good

A newer bathtub is necessary photos on @beeart.o , we have bathtub washing machines all in one that are way better for studios and rooms like these in Madeira. Some more salad options would be awesome.
