Great few days away.

The location of the villa was a 10 minute walk to the town by turning right out of the villa. Aldi, lidl, and mercadonna close by. The villa was spotlessly clean, and lovely comfy beds. Toilet roll and towels all provided. Tea towel, sponge and washing up liquid all provided. The views from balcony was lovely to watch sunrise in a morning. Blankets provided for the colder months and aircon for heat too. TV was great with Netflix and you you tube. I read comments about the trains being loud but wasn't that bad. And the villa being over looked at back by apartments but we never saw anyone. We got bus to Benalmadena 3 of us 4.65 in total 10 kin on bus lovely place to visit. A great stay and weather was glorious too. Torremolinos is lovely we will definitely be back next year.

A decent base

Plenty of space for all party members to relax and rest, inside and outside: kitchen, lounge, rear and front ground floor verandas, rear and front upstairs verandas, all of which were shaded, in addition to bedrooms. Positive interactions with assistance regarding the villa; greeted by Alejandro who didn't speak much English so check in took a while; Claudia was always polite and helpful when reporting about the lack of water due to a local supply issue; and Miguel was friendly and kept in touch about issues with the WiFi. The decor was simple and attractive; lovely stained glass on the stairs. The property was cleaned to a good standard on arrival, but a small frying pan of oil was left in the oven - is this a cultural thing? There is a tap and hose and basin in the garden to rinse sandy items on your return from the beach, which we used often; wish there had been a few more pegs for hanging items. Citronella candles were provided inside and out to ward off midges; we all got bitten over our stay but not to excess. We were left to enjoy our stay and had adequate privacy although the property is overlooked by high-rise apartments on two sides. It felt safe to walk around at any time; the locals were friendly enough, and crime seemed low and well-policed. Lidl and Aldi were close by, less than 10 minute walk; we took an empty suitcase to carry water and supplies home in! We received excellent service in restaurants and cafes, but did identify that dishes are served when ready, rather than at the same time as per in England. Recommendations: El Torro Azul on Saint Miguel - delicious food but pricey; Che Bola on Calle de la cruz - excellent customer service and good portions and value for money; avoid Bar Jerez next to the clock tower opposite the end of San Miguel - terrible food and service; El Dorado on Calle del Peligro - lovely tapas and good value for money and service. We paid 5.

No WiFi for 5/7 days. No effective air con in 2/4 bedrooms, upstairs or bathroom. One less bathroom than shown in photos. Not enough kitchen utensils per people staying so frequent washing up needed. Towels were just about okay but not enough toilet roll provided for 5 people for a week. Double bed upstairs only two singles pushed together so impractical to use. The dining chairs weren't particularly comfortable; neither were the beds; and the sofa arms kept falling off when lent against. The steps into the pool were only suitable for the fittest of users, not young children or anyone less physically fit; this therefore limited its use for our party which was disappointing as we had specifically booked a place with a pool. In addition, the property overlooked a large and accessible pool used by the apartments next door; perhaps the Monko Group might pay in for visitors to be able to access this? Walk to nearest beach is via 146 steep stairs so impractical for some. It took more like 20+ minutes to get to the beach, the nearest one, or then one further away using the lift to get down, and to the town centre area to find shops and restaurants. Something to consider if holidaying with those less able to walk or cope in the heat. Villa would benefit from a Welcome Pack to inform visitors about local amenities and instructions for the property. I would happily help to make/translate one for English users. Take care when crossing the road as drivers don't always stop at zebra crossings. Personal space is less of a thing too; people lean over and push past much more so than in the UK.

Superb

Very comfortable beds & loved the balcony views watching a thunderstorm over the sea at night! Weather was very hot as expected in summer so was nice to cool down in the pool after a day out. Lots of different areas for us all t relax in so everyone can enjoy & not get on top of each other. Had a few good barbecues too!

Arrival time was in the night & we had to rush to meet staff for access to the keys & pay a deposit. Normally there are different ways of paying for a deposit & a key box for access. Also the lights upstairs kept tripping & we had to fix the ladder going into the pool as it was missing a screw. Also had to trim back the Bush overhanging the pool as it had thorns like sharks teeth!! Overall we had a great time thank you.

Spacious and comforting

The location of the property was fantastic, only 10 mins to the centre of Torremolinos and 10 mins to the beach. The property itself was modern, had all amenities you could need and the staff were always on hand if we needed anything.

The pool tub was small and highly unpractical due to the steps being unsafe. Therefore we didn't use it, other than that everything was good!

cozy villa in the good place. pet friendly. good wi-fi. nice lobby with the barbecue, garland and candles. cozy living room. nice view from the balcony. all the necessary equipment: washing machine, dishwasher, etc. 10-15 minutes to the beach down the stairs

host doesnt speak English. trains passing by are very loud. pretty big deposit - 600, was returned one week after check out. as was already mentioned in other reviews, the villa is surrounded by high-rise buildings, no privacy, you can hear your neighbors loudly. the streetlight shines through the bedroom window on the first floor and thin translucent curtains do not protect against this. strange layout: there is no guest toilet on the ground floor, only the masters bedroom with a toilet in it. not very clean: sticky railings for example. Minor imperfections in the house. For example, there are no hooks for clothes in the hallway and no closet in the bedroom on the first floor. That is, there is simply nowhere to hang jackets. No trash can in the toilet on the first floor. No salad bowl. The gates don't close, they clapped constantly because of the strong wind. in private messages after booking, they indicated that the parking is paid, although the description indicated that its free. later finally we figured out that it is free though. There are a lot of conditions when you move in: you must to do this, you have to do that, you got a house in the perfect conditions, and the perfect conditions are peeling paint on the walls

It's a comfortable nice looking place, the pictures don't lie. The owner is very responsive and took care of the issues quickly. It's close to the beach, supermarkets, pharmacy, etc. si using the car is optional.

There were some issues that show that the apartment was not thoroughly inspected before the delivery. Nothing major and thankfully the owner took care of everything..Hopefully it will improve. The announced pool is in the shade and not cleaned in winter (admittedly it was cold to use). It seems perfect for summer but don't expect to use it in winter.

The house was nicely renovated and furnished. Short distance to the airport, Malaga city, beach and Torremolinos center.

The tiny pool was so dirty that even the kids didnt want to swim in it. The kitchen equipment was inadequent (microwave not working, only a few spoons) and though we asked for some supplement we did not get any. There is no privacy (curtains missing) and the lock tai the gate does not work. The train goes right under the house and sounds like thunder several times in an hour. On top of all, there was no/not enough kitchen/toilet paper or washing powder for laundry/dishes for our stay.

The property is a 10 minute walk to the beach (15 minutes walk back as it was uphill most of the way!) and close to amenities The house was spacious and tastefully decorated There was plenty of outside space including veranda, courtyard and front porch and an outside barbecue Claudia the agent was very helpful and responsive whenever we had issues or questions (e.g. there were loose sockets so she quickly organised an electrician to come and fix them) and even brought us a bottle of wine

The pool was not available which was one of the main reasons we chose the property - it had been out of order for a month and a half prior to our arrival yet we were never informed of this. Had we been, I would have tried to find an alternative property with a pool. A small temporary pool, the size of a jacuzzi, was put in the courtyard instead. There were frequent power cuts at the property - whenever we had the air conditioning on and put on washing machine or dishwasher then the electricity cut out. Not very many kitchen utensils were available - eg no bowls, no peeler, no grater - and no dishwasher or washing machine tablets were left (we left ours for the next tenants)
