    The bed was not comfortable, the ac unit in the room seemed old and did not work very well and had a strange smell.

    This is our favorite place in Eureka for over 20 years now
    I love this beautiful old hotel. Its central location is awesome and its updated, not too Victorian like most historic hotels around Eureka.
    Our only complaint was that our room was too hot, we couldnt get the heater to cycle off finally we just turned it completely off

    Lovely 1800a hotel with a wonderful bar.
    Really enjoyed my stay over the last week. Came up for Porsche Palooza and wanted to stay somewhere a little bit away from the event. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms retain a lot of the 1800's aesthetic without feeling "old." The lobby bar has a great selection for your nightcap. The Downstairs restaurant The Quarter had some of the best Beignets I've ever had and Jazz's Black Magic Bloody saved my life after a late night. The location on Spring is perfect for walking around and exploring the downtown area. Parking was very convenient. Overall the staff did a phenomenal job of making sure my visit was pleasant and memorable. I will for sure be returning next November!
