There was a lot we did not like. The photos are misleading. The reception is nice but the rooms are not. Greeted by a miserable receptionist who didnt even tell us the WiFi code and when I asked for where to find bedding for the sofabed, he threw his hands up as if to say what do you want me to do about it. I called ahead of our arrival to ask for non feathered pillows as Im allergic. Alina was delightful. On arrival though, I was absolutely convinced they were feathered to touch (despite the polyester label), not least because of my sneezing symptoms. On entering the room, there was barely any room to walk around the bed or sofabed when pulled out and it is tired and shabby looking. I didnt sleep at all as the bedroom was ice cold. My mum was on the sofabed with a very loud fan. I also felt like the bedding was not clean. On complaining about the below par first night, I told Alina. She told me she would pass all of this on to the person taking over when we returned from our day out to let me know what could be done to help us. He then asked me to repeat everything and said he didnt have any message. Except that she clearly had asked him to give us heaters. They said they couldnt turn the fan off. Its a permanently noisy fixture for all guests to enjoy. He did though help us as much as he could putting radiator heaters in our room, admitting it was cold. This was all on Christmas Day and so that was ruined. I felt like a gesture of goodwill was the least they could do and was told they would give us a breakfast but for any money back (as we paid in full in advance), I had to speak to the manager and he was not back until the morning we were leaving. So when I saw the manager Cecille I was shocked to be met with a more or less what do you want attitude. He demanded that I repeat everything (for the third time!) and then gave me a lot of rude defensiveness. I was genuinely shocked that this man is a manager as he showed zero customer care skills.
