As a British/Japanese couple whove been to onsen all over Japan; this is up there with the best. Lovely location, perfect atmosphere, great food.

Pleasant stay like Japanese Ryokan in Chiangmai
The scenery around the hotel is pleasant.
The in room Onsen is not convenient enough. Need to call house keeper for preparing the bath whenever you feel like! Besides,the temperature of the water is not hot enough as an Onsen.

Like traveling to Japan
Like traveling to Japan without having to catch a flight.. if there was anything that could be more perfect about the experience here, I sure dont know what it would be.. everything was fantastic from start to finish.
As you descend the steps from the entrance to the valley, you find yourself in a beautiful zen garden, with water features & green spaces, and suddenly you are in Japan again Every one of the staffs that we spoke with were super lovely and took great care The onsen itself was terrific, spot on with Japanese style and very relaxing (I virtually had the public onsen to myself on each visit).. the restaurant was terrific, with high quality, tasty food and again with fantastic service from the team there.. and the room itself was very beautifully designed & comfortable in every way. A very memorable experience, cant wait to return for another stay here.. would recommend to others
