Staff at the foyer serving drinks/cakes were not very welcoming. Bellboy pit us in a very expensive mercedes taxi without checking with us first. Felt schemed. One of the two elevators to the rooms was not working. You would think a hotel with this reputation can do better.

One if the best hotels in Vienna, incredible facilities and a luxurious relaxing stay.
The hotel was exceptional, i couldn't have chosen a better hotel in Vienna. From being greeted by the lobby staff each day, to relaxing in the lobby listening to the pianist, it was without a doubt one of the best hotels i have stayed in.
Within the stay was breakfast each day, which was faultless with extensive tasty options and champagne which is always a bonus. The room was incredible, with lots of room to move around, heated bathroom floor and speakers, free mini bar, also, i liked the fact that the TV's were screen mirroring meaning i could watch programmes off my phone and that's just some of what the room includes. The spa and fitness facilities were exceptional too, also i found them to be quiet meaning i had the spa to myself on occasions. The hotel itself is around 10 mins in a Uber, to the centre hot spots. I found Uber much
better then the general taxis though, as it appeared the taxis outside the hotel do try to rip you off!
Lastly, the hotel was very disabled friendly. I took the trip with my dad who uses a mobility scooter, and he got around without any issues as the floors were all flat, with a ramp up to the restaurant.
If you are hesitating booking this hotel, don't. You wont regret it.
The staff are all so very helpful and the hotel itself if impeccable.

The only negative i can say, is at times the baristas in the lobby area could be slow at serving and issuing bills. However when prompting they were courteous.

Wonderful hotel in Vienna. We found it an excellent location for seeing the sight of the city
Elegant and sophisticated decor and rooms.
Staff were helpful and efficient
Breakfast team and the quality of food were excellent.
Generally we were very happy but there were a few things we felt affected our enjoyment.
During our stay, one of the two elevators was out of service. This lead to some minor waits getting to and from the room.
On our first evening, without another casual dining option within the hotel, we decided to try the lounge bar area. Unfortunately, although the team tried hard they seemed rushed and understaffed. We waited for food and drink orders. This was a disappointment.
We were also disturbed by the smell of tobacco smoke within the lobby at times. If the hotel must have smokers room, then the door seal and ventilation must improve

Beautiful hotel very helpful door staff and information desk.
Pity when we checked in early friday for the weekend no dinner booking to be had as booked out. We were directed to a fantastic italian down the street. This was 10/10 Should advise guests to book evening dining ahead of arrival not to have to look for options outside the hotel on arrival.
