A wonderful stay in an excellent hotel

Beautiful property, very nice rooms with generous free minibar service, very friendly and proactive staff, excellent breakfast. The heated pool with lake views is a major highlight.

A perfect stay

The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

I could have stayed longer. Perhaps if I'd realised the breakfast was a l carte and not buffet, I would have ordered it to our room. I'd be back to Hotel Park Vitznau in a heart beat if it wasn't on the other side of the world.

Beautiful hotel, staff should match the standard of the hotel

Stunning views

Took forever to check-in as the man couldnt find our reservation. We arrived after 12pm after a wedding, having informed them about our timing in advance. Carrying my sleeping 2 year old in our arms I was hoping for an easy check-in but it wasnt.

The location was sensational!!! The best we have been to and we have been lucky to experience some excellent spas around the world. We had an upgrade which was wonderful and a very unexpected touch - the suite stylish, cosy and very relaxing. The setting was so atmospheric and the staff made us feel absolutely at home. We really loved it and had two beautiful very romantic meals right by the water, even with a thunderstorm over the mountains which made it extremely dramatic with the backdrop.

We are sad to have to mention this, as it really was such a beautiful place and the staff were so lovely and wonderful. There happened to be a large international family staying there with lots of kids who were highly excitable, screeching like crazy and running around the gorgeous serene pool and spa area in and out of doors, opening and closing the steam room, etc. This completely ruined the amazing and peaceful experience which I had wanted for my wife for our weekend break and which we had expected for such a special place, - we would recommend that it is an adults only spa area if guests are allowed to maximise their purpose of relaxation at the spa. In fairness though and to his utter credit, the spa attendent did speak to the children to ask them to respect the quiet zone, which they did for 10 mins. We would easily have given it a 10 Rating, had we not experienced the noisy spa on our day 2 of a 3 day break. May this was just unfortunate. Every else was absolutely perfect!
