Great location, good breakfast. Good host.

The location of this establishment is excellent with it being right on the seafront. The breakfast on the first 2 days was very good, but there could have been more choice of cereals. I believe the owner to be a credible and reasonable landlady and, having chatted with the her, I am sure that the few niggles below, will be taken on board and addressed. I would visit this establishment again.

I have stayed in this guesthouse previously, some years ago and thought that the standards had slipped somewhat. The room was not particularly clean, with a stained carpet and build up of dust around the edges, where the vacuum did not reach. The quilt cover was marked when we arrived. The bed was very uncomfortable and noisy. The bed and pillows were of a poor quality and very uncomfortable. The ensuite shower room was passable, but it has seen better days and really needs a thorough clean. Unfortunately, the owner had an unexpected crisis to deal with and breakfast wasn't provided on the third day. However, the owner explained the situation. refunded an amount and recommended places where breakfast would be available instead, which was acceptable.
