Stefan and Nikki were wonderful hosts. They checked in with us upfront and made the check-in experience super easy. We were provided with recommendations on activities and restaurants and they even offered to make reservations for us.
The guesthouse is perfectly located across a brief path to the cliff walk, everything is safely walkable day and night. Worth mentioning is that there is no loadshedding at this house. The breakfast was amazing (more than we needed) and very delicious. We would 10/10 come back here!

A memorable and enjoyable time in comfortable surroundings
The breakfast to order was exceptionally good, and prepared by Stefan who takes a pride in producing breakfasts to delight his guests. A number of upgrades have been installed including solar panels overcoming the Western Cape current daily power outages. The location is good and not too far to the centre of Hermanus.
As security has been greatly improved since a previous visit four years ago, initially access cannot be gained without phoning before or when you arrive, so guests need to be aware they need to have a note of the telephone number to hand. I personally did not find this a big issue as I had the Penguino Guesthouse telephone number with me.
Lovely place, very cosy & clean, Nikki and Stefan are super friendly hosts with great recos, excellent breakfast, we loved it there

Awesome stay with great hosts
Nikki and Stefan are awesome hosts, gave us great recommendations for our stay in Hermanus and made us feel like home. Stefans breakfast is phenomenal.
The guesthouse is very close to the Cliff Path which makes it a great location.
We would definitely stay here again!
