Exceptional

Great block out curtains. Nice big thick towels. Comfy bed. Great breakfast. Rooms were roomy.

The kids food options were limited and had too many flavours for kids (e.g. rhubarb on pancakes). Service was below average on new years day. I appreciate this is a difficult day to staff but given the mark-up in costs for accommodation for this period (beyond the public holiday surcharges) I expect better quality. Staff upon check-in were not very polite. Although checkout was pleasant. Notice of the noise in our room which was above the band area playing on NY would have been appreciated. Travelling with young kids is challenging and this was not helpful.

Superb

We loved exploring Tasmania

The cleanliness was exceptional The hotel staff and dog were very friendly The hotels design was fascinating The food was very nice.

I felt the hotel had been dumped in an area which didnt have the same wow factor. Very sad to see so many homeless people living in their caravans and transport close by infact a view from our window Food at the restaurant was pricey.
