    Simple and comfortable
Good location for Rhosilli and surrounds. Nicely equipped kitchen. Bed very comfortable. Spacious lounge.
Mould in the bathroom & bathroom in general gets very damp. Cleanliness (e.g. behind bed, under sofa etc) lacking a bit (but this didn't negatively detract from our visit overall).

OK but could have been better
The location was good plus in an area devoid of shops the general store next door was great to have. Kitchen generally well-equipped, sofa comfortable although not in a great position to watch the tv. Beds comfortable to sleep in. IN general, two of us were comfortable in the property.
The following points are made to help the owners focus on some key issues that need to be addressed and are not said to be critical. Key access - the key box is difficult to access owing to neglect and weathering - WD40 would help! No cooker instructions or microwave guidance despite the folder present saying that it was. Probably based on access difficulties, especially in the cramped bedrooms, cleaning had only been done where places were easily accessed or visible. I dropped an item behind a cupboard: Moving it to retrieve it identified months of fluff and minor rubbish. No black bags for laundry were provided as stated. I found a large blue laundry bag under a single bed. Pulling it out dragged a lot of fluff, dust etc with it, again indicating a long period of neglect. The cooker was filthy inside with oven trays caked in burnt on matter and under the kitchen bin bag, old tea bags and dishwasher tablets plus some fluid was found when emptying the bin on Saturday. The lounge window ledge had lots of spider droppings, dust and dirt along it as well as a missing piece to the blind. The blind in the double bedroom had no chords to open the slats, only to drag it across. Testing but not using the bath taps, one is loose and has washer or thread problems (hence not using it in case it didn't turn off properly). Finally despite being asked not to park on the driveway, a grey Ford van partially blocked the driveway by the shop everyday - probably belonging to the shop owner. We have no idea who does the cleaning and maintenance - it may not be the owner hence the need to deal with whomever does. Despite the seemingly critical list above, we were reasonably comfortable despite the bedroom crowding and lack of suitable hanging space and enjoyed the stay. The cleaning and small maintenance issues should be addressed and could be quite quickly. They appeared to be from neglect and/or someone not doing their job properly.

A great holiday in a fabulous location. Comfy beds would have made it excellent.
A great location close to lots of lovely beaches, activities and local villages. The chalet was cosy and had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen and all appliances worked well. Good sized bathroom and decent shower. Spacious lounge and excellent free Wi-Fi. The hallway had lots of hooks for coats and a decent airer to dry towels and swimming costumes. A bench outside to sit and eat in the good weather. Plus being able to park by the front door was very useful. The welcome pack from the hosts along with the comprehensive local information guide was much appreciated. The local shop was very handy selling great local produce and essentials. The lovely warm swimming pool and hot tub were very welcome on wet days and the staff were very friendly.
On arrival it was very difficult to open the key safe as the safe door was jammed. The mattresses in both the master bedroom and the second bedroom need updating as they were saggy and very uncomfortable, consequently we didnt sleep well. There were too many beds in the second bedroom so it was impossible to hang clothes and the solid bed frame in the master bedroom made getting changed in either bedroom a challenge. The whole chalet could do with a thorough clean. The main surfaces in bedroom and kitchen including the appliances were clean but the rest not. The bathroom wasnt particularly clean and the bin hadnt been emptied. There was thick dust everywhere, food remnants from previous occupants and the mirrors and pictures were dirty. Two of the vertical blinds over the lounge window were missing. The TV was placed very high on the wall and we gave up using it as we were getting neck ache.

Altogether, a pleasant place to stay. Chippie and small village shop are just around the corner, the beautiful Gower beaches only a few minutes away by car. We had quiet nights.
Not a lot of glasses for 5 guests. Kitchen and bath could be cleaner.

Couldn't say as we didn't stay.
The fact that the holiday was cancelled without us knowing. Owner would not have a conversation with us, would not answer his phone. Only communicated through text message, which we think was very rude. Said he had cancelled through booking.com which was untrue. We were actually in the holiday accomodation!, when we were told it had been cancelled and to leave because they were having builders in to do some work. Beginning of summer season, really!!! We had our 2 young grandchildren with us who were as distraught as we were. They were expecting to have a few days away with us but instead had to get back in the car and go home! This owner cannot be trusted to honour a booking and has no care for other's or the stress and inconvenience being caused.

Good location from which to explore the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
Great location, lovely pool on site and great to be able to use it whenever we wanted. Grocery shop beside it that had all we needed for our stay. Gower is a beautiful part of Wales and it's a great base from which to explore.
Sheets were stored under the bed in the second bedroom. This didn't instill confidence in the cleanliness of the linen on the beds. There was no DVD player, kids had picked out a movie to watch,( great selection) but then realised the promised dvd player didn't exist. Netflix/TV connection poor, screen freezing and jumping, hence why the dvd was being watched. These were minor inconveniences and didn't take from the trip.

lovely short break in a fabulous part of the country
its location and the fact it was dog friendly. also local shop easily accessible for anything you needed food and drink wise. we didnt use the park facilities but it looked good if you were there with children.
although it was fine for us it is very tired looking and walls have paint chips. it was clean so that was the main thing. could do with more glasses if a family stayed and only one wine glass!

    Short family break
The location of this chalet is absolutely fantastic your pretty much central to the most spectacular beaches . There is also a premier and chip shop very close and the staff are great. There is a little swimming pool for the children to enjoy aswel as a little park .
We found the property a little dated and not throughly clean with it being a pet friendly accommodation. There was a slight linger of dog within but not unbearable. With this being said, the owner was quick with replying to our messages . We don't tend to stay in pet friendly accommodation often but this was a spur of the moment decision so whether or not its normal withing pet friendly accommodation im unsure of . With everything mentioned I must add that we had a fantastic couple of days and our 2 year old son absolutely loved it.

    Cwtch chalet in December
Location is great for beaches, If you know the area. Lovely walks around the Gower. The chalet was lovely and clean and everything needed for rental. I have stayed in another of these chalets in the summer 2020 and when all facilities are open can be a great base, we took the grand kids they loved it, as we went un winter no facilities open but wasnt bothered and knew that before booking.
We went in December, as the chalets are normally a summer rental, it was very cold to start with as only have storage heaters. Which hadnt come on until we had to alter the settings, the bedroom ones were not on so with this extremely cold weather it took a very long time to warm up. The bathroom was very cold again all tiled with no blind and just a fan heater which did give some heat after a while leaving on. Probably cost the host more in electricity than we paid for the weekend. I spoke to the host and he was very helpful straight away how to alter heater and to find a separate fan heater.
