Daughter injured due to staff's under preparation of the apartment

During our stay at Quest st Kilda, our daughter's foot was hurt on 25 Dec 2023 in the morning at unit 113A, by a metal pin left on the carpet before we checked in on 24 Dec's evening. We didn't know the pin was on the carpet (near bedroom's curtain) until our daughter stepped onto it and started crying immediately after. The staff apparently didn't pick it up and remove it before we checked in, looking like a negligence incident, which led to our daughter's injury. We were shocked by this unacceptably inadequate preparation of our stay that led to the injury of our daughter. We had to monitor her injury and we were unable to bring our daughter for beaches or swimming due to concerns for infection. It left quite a bad memory on our daughter about this trip. We were expecting a good holiday with you but this incident has happened instead. We have also found that there are other objects remain uncleaned on the carpet and many issues around items not working. We were very unsatisfied that such a preventable injury happened due to the inadequate preparation of the apartment before we checked in. Get prepared for many unsatisfying factors if you are going to stay at Quest St Kilda Road. We will never come back again.

Brilliant location, fabulous staff and great for those with a pupper!

Quest was a fantastic stay for myself and my dog angel over Christmas. Its right opposite and enormous Park and close to all sorts of shopping and Caf and right near the Alfred Hospital. The staff were also exceptional and willing to help with anything needed a great property, and I will definitely be rebooking.

Not having any cleaning or access to things over Christmas. Would be good to give guests extra towels and coffee etc prior to the stop work period.

Great location. Easy check in, staff always available. Great staff. Late checkout. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Nice linen.

The freezer in the fridge needed defrosting so the fridge wasnt working well.

Great location for my needs. Trams within 2 minute walk. 1 bedroom apartment was roomy. Had all appliances I needed. Parking on-site for a fee, plus street parking. Needing a coffee, can purchase next door in a small Cafe. Was very quiet. Highly recommended
