    Out with the Old, in with the New
    It was a charming old house with character. They had updated the wiring to accommodate high-powered items such as blow dryers and irons. Gated parking was a plus.
    It was an old house with many, many steps. Since they no longer serve breakfast, much of the charm is gone, as eating lovingly prepared meals and chatting with hosts and other guests was special. Without that, it's just an old creaky house with drafts and poor lighting (couldn't turn on one lamp at all and the room was freezing when I arrived. Gladly, they had a space heater (although those do make me nervous). I'd rather just go for something contemporary and bright if it's now downgraded to create an experience of convenience furthering isolation.

    We enjoyed staying in a historic home. The king bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and the room very clean!

    Once we got our room, everything was OK.
    Check in. We printed the booked page as per Booking.com instructions to present at check in. There was nobody there to meet us. Rang doorbell. Sat on porch that had video TV surveillance thinking someone would see us. We were in Cleveland for a concert and came from Canada without my phone. Check in instructions were sent to my phone AFTER we left Canada. Fortunately we met another guest checking in after waiting an hour. Drove to McD's to get some WIFI. Back to house to get in. Two wasted hours! I have sent a text to owner who says he will correct the situation with Booking.com. For a while we thought we had been scammed.

    Super cozy and quiet! The host was extremely attentive and made sure I could book at the last minute. The property is beautiful, clean, and well cared for. Bed was very comfy. Convenient location, walkable to food and entertainment.

    My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a fabulous Cleveland area. Not far from anything.
    Historic home. Lovely rooms were tastefully decorated and well marked. Plenty of parking in a safe area. Loved the pillows ! The common area with the coffee maker was appreciated.
    Could have used a night light in the bathroom as the room was nicely darkened. Really, that was all, place was great.
