Exceptional breakfast, amazing staff and great location. And great honesty-bar <3

It's not something I didn't like, but just a fair warning: the road up to the hotel is really narrow and can be challenging for a non-confident driver. But after a couple of runs, you get used to it.

A really lovely place to explore Snowdonia. Cant wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful - the hotel is well kept and very comfortable. We enjoyed talking with the owner and learning more about the area. We could easily walk into town where we had one dinner and a lunch. We had dinner one night at Sygun Fawr and it was really tasty! Each breakfast was also awesome! We could also easily walk into the hills - its near hiking trails! The bed was comfortable and the wifi was really good for doing work and streaming. Would highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

Warm welcoming from Keith and Jane, including buster the dog. Host friendly and helpful.Great accommodation, Beds very comfortable and cosy. Freshly prepared breakfast from a lot of choices. Lovely outdoor gareden setting with mountain views around. Plenty of Parking. The property has powerful torches for guests to use. 15 mins walk to little village with many pubs and restaurants.

Great location, great staff, good food.

Fabulous property in a beautiful location. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast choices were great, especially love the toasted banana bread with Greek yoghurt and honey.

We have just arrived back after spending the weekend in the Sygun Fawr country house. The property itself was absolutely

The property was absolutely stunning. Lots of original features and character of the original building. The information books in the rooms were fantastic. Loved reading about the history of the building and great information of places to visit including post codes to make destination easier to find. Kevin and his sister Jane were lovely, very welcoming and helpful.

Black mould spotted on the ceiling and its understandable considering the age of the property but it can be harmful. Could do with a bit of maintaining in places however it would not put us off returning in the future
