Pleasant

The hotel is nice, very clean rooms but the beds were rock solid. When I arrived with my family we arrived early after leaving too much time for our 5 hour drive. It was about midday. I asked the young lady behind the counter if it was possible to check in early. She said no it's 3pm to check in. She didn't ask my name or check to see if the rooms were ready. I would have happily paid to do so. Overall a nice stay though.

Comfortable, perfect for travellers with dogs as the room was large and we did not hear other guests

Room was excellent with a view of the coast. Breakfast had a great spread. They were very dog friendly letting me out early in the morning to let my dogs go outside.

Bathroom was a bit smelly likely something in the pipes. The room itself was clean.

OK But get the breakfast issue sorted

Mostly all went as expected.

There was no orange juice for breakfast on the last two days of my stay this also happened on a similar vocation at the same time of year. I understand that the hotel closes down on the 2nd of January but don't understand who orange juice could was not purchased from Tesco which is inly a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There were other guests asking about orange juice.

Great sea views from hotel, a few niggles easily sort by management when told about them

Great room size and view. Bathroom good size. Food -breakfast was buffet style ie help yourself. The cooked side was not hot as heat lamps did nothing. Dinner was excellent, good choice on menu varied every night, served piping hot. Location minutes from beach. 10-15 minutes walk from railway station, unfortunately no bus stop by main entrance of hotel.

Would have liked to been informed that although there is a lift to each floor each floor is split into two sections one reach via two flight of stairs. Not helpful with luggage and or mobility issues. Though staff would help afterwards when mentioned to them about stair problems. The main area ie lounge, restaurant and bar only have one sex/ disabled toilet, the others ones are in the basement. The main entrance to reception is up a flight of stairs. There are daily charges for car parking.
