We enjoyed our stay!

The kitchen was well equipped, lovely and bright. The property was clean and tidy in general. Had good facilities with tv, dvd player, books etc, 2 bathrooms. Bus routes were good to find a bit more life. Good pub nearby in the famous barrel, pizza pls was really good.

I appreciate it is a very old building, but felt cold and damp and smelt damp downstairs. We spent all our time upstairs apart from sleeping. The balcony area felt a little unfinished and appreciate that building work had started outside so gave untidy view and this made the parking a bit more of a walk to the property. The area felt a little dead when we arrived on a Monday, with pub next door shut down and a lot of businesses not opening up until Wednesday.

a lovely spacious house which has all you need

interesting house with a history, well kitted out for our needs with a feeling of space and having 2 bathrooms is great.

finding the property was difficult despite instructions. a drawing of where to park and then how to get to the front door on foot would have helped. Bath and shower water was not very hot. and one bedroom had no heating working.

Liked the house overall and the concept. Liked the design and the old Ope.

The hot water system and heating continually failed. Had to boil several jugs to get hot water for bath. When shower finally produced hot water immediately plunged to cold once under shower. Heating failed during cold nights and appeared to be on a timer. Hot water system displayed Service Due on our arrival. Mould evident on walls and the damp odour permeated through the whole building. Probably seriously unhealthy.

No breakfast was included. Just tea, coffee and milk

Nothing. The house was better than expected. Very historical with good access to busses. In a very quiet location

The property was cold and smelt musky, the outside area was overgrown and the cobbled path was dangero path and steps were dangerous. where we parked our car it was just our car it was just rubble,
