Great place

The location of the hotel was spot on; 2 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the town centre and on a quiet road. Alan and Jackie made us feel really welcome on arrival with a cup of coffee. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable but the best thing of all was the cooked breakfast. I'm not normally a fried bread fan but I was persuaded to have it and I wasn't disappointed - definitely a speciality. Lots of free parking which is always a plus. To sum it up, it was like home from home. Lovely stay.

Friendly, quality guest house/hotel with a very good breakfast.

Parking behind hotel was very convenient. Nice tv lounge which we used. Tea/coffee, biscuits and bottled water in room. Honesty bar/chocolate available 24/7 is a good idea.

A little disappointed with the tiny room, one of the smallest we have ever had. Couldnt really relax for any length of time sitting on the bed in there, so appreciated the lounge downstairs.

The owners Jackie and Alan gave us a real warm welcome and made us feel at home the hotel was very clean and situated not far from the centre of Skeg Breakfast was excellant and filling would reccomend Rufford hotel

Excellent cooked breakfast with a choice of timings. Always wanting to do more for us. Felt well looked after. 5 star treatment thoughtout our stay.
