    Staff was super welcoming. Awesome breakfast. Nice to have the gaming room, with billiards and ping pong table.
    Old carpets in the hallways which despite being cleaned, were still bad for my allergies.

    They bombard you with messages through booking, whatsapp and e-mail. I received at least 6 different messages starting 2 weeks before the trip. Bit much for my taste.

    Well situated hotel offering nice staying experience for your time in Madeira.
    Hotel is at busy section (Lido) of the city surrounded with a Cafs, Bars, Restaurants. Plenty activities to go outside. Hotel itself has two sections and we have lived in the older one, which has only partial sea view. However it is on the side of swimming pool and its more quiet if you plan to stay during day time. As hotel is situated on the top of the building, it has nice sea views from swimming pool area. Hotel share same building with a shopping center (below), so you have plenty of shops and restaurants available just round the corner including some tourist agencies offering daily trips. We found it usefully, especially in the late evening, when you dont need to run through the city to find you need. Room (studio) was ok for 3 persons with a small balcony offering partial see view. Room arrangement was not very modern, but it had everything you need, including kitchen and fridge. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of selection available, staff friendly. Food itself is very good. There is a free underground car parking, so you can park a car without a headache. There are few swimming pools (kids friendly) outside, including heated pool inside surrounded by saunas and Jacuzzi, what we found absolutely nice to relax after long day trips around the Madeira. As a huge advantage, that there is bus stop just in front of the hotel, so for some trips around you can use public transportation fully.

    Some older sections of the hotel needs small renovation (we didnt like the smell of the carpets in the main corridor in front of the lift). There are no power outlets side to the bed, so you need to use two of electrical outlets available in the opposite side of the room, what is not very convenient if you want to charge and browse your phone or tablet in bed. Car parking sometimes is very busy, but we always found the place to park. Plenty of drivers park their cars not obeying parking lines (especially those driving expensive cars) making impossible to park nearby. Some straighter parking policies (fines) would solve the problem, releasing plenty of unused parking space for other drivers too. Safe in the room was very small. iPad and small personal items fits fine, however you will not be able to leave a laptop PC in the safe.

    We spent a week with a group of people (17 people) in this excellent hotel. The hotel has everything you would need: nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, super location - restaurants, bars, shops nearby, walking distance to Funchal center, 7min walk to the promenade. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely fascinating, restaurant staff is also remarkable. Pool area is also super nice as well as the evening entertainment. We would definitely return here.

    Will come again.
    Excellent hotel for families, great outdoor and indoor pool, both perfect still at the start of November. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Very good and varied buffet breakfast. We enjoyed also the two dinners we chose extra from the buffet, and they were good value.
