What ever guests really want

We travel a lot, around the world, and this was by far the best hotel we ever stayed in. The most hotels are all the same no matter where you are. But this hotel stand out in every way, not sure we can mention all. It seems like that the management asked themselves : what do guests really want - and they found every little detail. Beside that all the basics are outstanding, this hotel exceeded in so many ways. The staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly and knows the answers to all questions or requests, no matter what. Both Marcio and Sidnio were excellent, always there for us. The small details everywhere around, the possibility to wash cloth, the provided purified water, we could continue endlessly. The interior of the whole hotel is stylish and the apartment too. The rooftop is a dream, the pool is warm in winter and we swam 1000 m nearly everyday. We stayed for 3 weeks in December, and when not hiking the mountains, we spend the days in the hotel, on the rooftop just enjoying life. The sustainability level of the hotel is high, and there is no plastic at all. The jazz concerts in Wednesday were a spoil! We ate at the restaurant at least ones per day, delicious every single time. Since we do not rent a car but use public buses (try it!), the location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the bus station, and you get easily around. The vibe and atmosphere is so smooth and relaxed. For us it really was a home, and we booked already our 4 weeks stay next winter.

noisy, even with the windows closed. I guess that is the prize you pay when you book a hotel in the middle of Funchal, but still. Soundproofed windows please.

amazing facilities! lovely little touches throughout our like drinks on the rooftop, fresh pastries. great kitchen and there was even a washing machine with pods provided. baby friendly - they provided a high chair in addition to a proper cot which was so helpful. staff were so accommodating! thanks!

Awesome! Book this place!

This is a truly awesome hotel! May well be the best hotel weve stayed at. Central, beautiful building, stunning rooftop bar and pool area, great facilities, beautiful rooms and incredible staff. From before we arrived to check out the team were warm, super friendly and really helpful. From the welcome and tour of the building on arrival to the morning pastries on left on our door each morning, the team were awesome. So excellent value for money. Well definitely stay again. Thanks guys!
